No Introduction Necessary

This story is interesting chiefly from the point of view of journalism: First, here's CNN: Piano Man. A bit later, we get Piano Man Clue is Another Dead End . Another version of the same here. And here's a CBC story from last year: MISTER NOBODY. What's interesting is the lack of thought on the part of many of the people concerned. The man turns up with amnesia and has no labels in his clothes. What does that mean? Did somebody remove the labels before setting Kasper Hauser loose, or did he do it himself in a fit of absent-mindedness? One of the stories says, "he impressed his carers with a remarkable virtuoso performance"; it turns out he played snippets of "Swan Lake" and some Beatles songs on the piano. It was also said that he drew a pencil sketch of the Swedish flag. Unless he used coloured pencils, the flag's provenance would be sort of ambiguous. Then there were assurances that he was this one or that one, until the person so identified had to come out and make a statement saying, No, it's not me.

If you think about the CBC story, it sounds as if Piano Man learned a few things last time.

Watching TV is a good way to tear yourself away from the computer.
