Loser's Guide to Life
A Radically New Side to Karl Rove
It seems to be baffling and confusing, but it was Karl Rove who blew the cover of a CIA agent, just to cause trouble. How incredibly incomprehensible and enigmatic. What a bizarre, curious, never-to-be-guessed-at conclusion to the whole affair. Who would have thought the man capable of anything remotely similar, etc.

"... just to cause trouble" |
If I did something like that at work, there would probably be trouble of some kind. There is actually a whole list of things you're not meant to do under pain of dismissal: eating, being asleep, insubordination (my forte, as it happens), and seventy or eighty other things. My only objection to all that is they change the rules whenever they feel like it. Our boss, for example, started taking naps in his office, so all of a sudden it became okay to nod off. It just showed how hard you were working. A bit later he started having pizza sent in, so even though they had fired somebody for eating cheese doodles secretly, they had to make some accommodation. Nothing's written in stone after all.
So maybe now all the people who work for Karl Rove will lighten up and start sharing all that valuable information with journalists or anyone who asks. It could be interesting.
