I wanted to find out a little something about the movie The Return (2003), which I had just seen, so I entered some Google terms.

What happened is the typical thing. About 50,000 sites, seemingly independent of each other, that all have the following initial text: "Two Russian boys return home one day and are told by their mother to be quiet as their father is ..." Moreover, 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. I didn't. Here's one that got the names of the actors all jumbled up. Lavronenko's the Dad, the odler boy is Gorin, the younger is Dobronravov. Just look at the box.

Here's another:

All we know about him [i.e., the father] is that he has been in the military, and probably has contact with gangster types, because he has more money in his wallet than they have ever seen.

No, we don't know that. It's a reasonable guess. But we only know what we see.
