Friday!!11!

My cat seeems to spend half her time sleeping. And the other half? Lying down with her eyes closed.

Meanwhile: Informant's tip about backhoe sends FBI searching for Hoffa, according to CNN. They are looking for him in someone's backyard.

I thought everyone knew he was chopped up into little pieces and dumped into the East River. I would imagine anything remotely political, like this, could be problematic for organized crime. The fact that they didn't leave him at the Michigan diner means they didn't want the body found. If they didn't want it found, they wouldn't bury it nearby, because who knows when someone will do a little construction work next year? So they got rid of the body somehow, and the sea is the best way.

People disappear at sea all the time. They can only be found if you know where to look and can be on the scene in a few hours. A friend of mine told me that he was on a ship in the Bay of Biscay and someone went overboard during the night. The ship went back and they called out helicopters, they had searchlights, but they couldn't find the person. And that was someone who wanted to be found, at least for the first hour or so.

Watching TV is a good way to tear yourself away from the computer.
