Luckily ... 

What if everyone who is initially attracted to you is, in fact, not right for you? What if the very thing that makes them choose to spend time with you is a misconstruction? What if you have, in fact, developed a mere persona for dealing with others, and this persona is the only thing anyone knows about you? And it is, to say the least, misleading? What if people were as incurious about your weaknesses as they were ignorant of your hard-won ideals? What would happen if that happened? Huh?

I think the result would be lots of breakups and divorces.
