Did you know that just about everything people say is somewhat wrong? Almost any expression commonly used or concept casually invoked, you can say, “Actually, that's not what that expression means.” Then you explain that, for example, “pushing the envelope” really has a specific meaning and not the one people think. I used to do this with my friends all the time. Pointing out the error of their ways, correcting their various misapprehensions, disabusing them generally. I haven't seen much of them lately.
