Meanwhile, this doesn't look good. Magomed Evloev, the owner of Ingushetiya.ru, has died of a gunshot wound after being arrested. (The site address in the Kommersant article is incorrect and is really an official Ingushetiya government site.)

There has been quite a lot of talk about this, both on Russian blogs and in Russian media, but very little in the west. It could be a problem.

According to an item quoted by Dobrokhotov, Evloev's clan has promised blood vengeance against Ingushetiya's Interior Minister Musa Medov and his whole family.

This is one of those things that could get much worse, or it might not, for the time being, and just be one of the things that later on contributes to everything getting really bad.
