People are always arguing about which band sucks, but...

About six years ago I was picking up my friend from the airport. We were pretty close. We literally grew up together, went to grade school together, got drunk as teens together, all that. We saw eye to eye on just about everything.

Anyway, he got into the car and I had the Ramones playing, and he said: “Ramones! Jesus.”

And I said, “What about the fuckin' Ramones?”

He said, “I don't know—bunch a lameass wankers, if you ask me.”

I turned off the engine and started playing with the carkeys. And I thought about it for several minutes, getting angrier with every second.

But you know what?
