The Times to Charge for Frequent Access to Its Web Site 

So I guess it'll be goodbye to the New York Times soon.

The thinking is that money's tight right now, so coporations and large businesses are no longer spending as much on ads, but you know who's loaded? That's right—readers! Let them take up the slack for a bit. It's not like there's any other stuff for them to look at on the internet.

(And where did I learn about this story? Not the New York Times.)

If the NY Times wants money, they can try to suck it out of my ISP. I don't pay for cable *plus* every show I watch...
