When I got home today, I noticed that the neighbours had put out incorrect gabage. It had been rightfully ignored by the garbage collectors, since today was recyclables day, and they had put out plain garbage. Their hideous, hideous garbage remained uncollected in a number of bags at the curb, a civic rebuke of the most obvious kind.
I felt kind of bad for them, and wondered if I should maybe offer my support.
A card, maybe?
Or perhaps best to say nothing, as I don't know them that well. But that always seems a little cowardly.
