Improvements 

Anyway, we did this operation on his brain, just like we did with the mouse—interestingly, a man's brain resembles a mouse's in every particular. It's just quite a bit bigger. So—

—And then what?

—And then we ran him through these mazes, just like the mouse. And boy, was he good at it!

—A success!

—You could say that. You should see him go through that maze! Still dumb as a post, mind you, but put him in front of a maze and ... stand back.
