Things Not to Put in a Movie

People slowly approaching the camera though thick fog for long minutes of opening credits.

People silhouetted on a hillside.

Someone doing something in the yard viewed, for no reason, from inside the (irrelevant) barn through big cracks in the wall.

A dusty window in a farm building, interior, somebody's retarded face looking into it from the outside, it having been established that the building is abandoned.

Any character who has to walk with a bad ankle, leg, knee, whatever. Shoot them.

Watching TV is a good way to tear yourself away from the computer.
